Is theconnek free?

Yes, completely. No subscription, no premium tier, no catch. theconnek is free for both students and professionals.

Who is this for?

Any student, undergraduate, postgraduate, or otherwise, who wants real career conversations. And professionals who are open to sharing their journey. Every college is welcome, no cutoffs.

What happens after I sign up?

You verify your email with a 6-digit code, set a password, and land on your dashboard. From there you can start practising immediately while we match you with a mentor.

How does matching work?

Mentors browse real mentee profiles and choose who they take on, and we match by hand too. When it happens, your dashboard shows your mentor and we set up the call over email. You're always in control of who you talk to.

What's in the practice section?

Over 600 guesstimates and case questions across six tracks: Strategy and Consulting, Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and HR. Each one has a timer, a scratchpad to write your answer, and a full approach with a final answer that unlocks the moment you submit.

Do I need to be from a top college?

No. theconnek is open to every college and every background. If you're serious about your career and willing to have real conversations, you belong here.

I'm a professional - how much time does this take?

As much or as little as you want. You choose who you mentor, up to three mentees at a time, and one conversation a month is enough to make a real difference for someone.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Use the Forgot password link on the login page. We email you a 6-digit code, you choose a new password, and you're back in.
